Want your teak deck to look its absolute golden, sanded best? Our Boat Show Teak Brightener & Sealer (long awaited by our customers who have tested it over 12 months) is the perfect solution. This powerful formula is designed for both deep cleaning and regular maintenance, working to restore your deck's natural pH and lift dirt from deep within the grain. To achieve this result you need to use an ultra low PH alternative acid concentrate that is diluted down. The other brands lack full safety disclosure or environmental hazards... we didn't. We chose chemicals that are not in any other teak cleaner product on the market that in dilute form when combined are completely safe for over the side rinsing or down scuppers, even aiding in clearing teak fuzz build up in the scupper drains. For the ultimate golden glow, pair it with our Simple Sailor Actual Teak Oil & Sealer.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
- Gear Up: Throw on some gloves—you're about to become a deck doctor!
- Mix: Mix 1 Gallon per 6 Gallons (6:1) or about a quarter of a bottle per 3 Gallons in a 5 Gallon bucket of water. Use 3 gallons water for regular maintenance, or 2 gallons water for a deeper fresh sanded clean on neglected decks. (tip - if you have proud caulk seams try our Proud Teak Caulking Chisel and ditch those razor blades or our Deck Carpenter Caulk Trimmer to lower them).
- Apply: To wet deck cleaned prior using our Step 1 Boat Show Teak Cleaner & Sealer using a soft brush in 50-100 sq. ft. sections.
- Wait: Let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Watch as deck brightens and sealer is created. by chemical reaction with Step 1.
- Scrub: any remaining gray fibers: Work across the grain with our optimized Coconut Teak Scrubber Pad or our optimized natural fiber Teak Scrub Brush.
- Rinse: Rinse lightly but no need to if you're in a rush. (Remember, no product can stop teak from graying completely, but this will slow the process by way of chemical reaction creating a natural teak UV Sealer.)
- Admire: that golden deck. For an ultimate UV and Hydrophobic seal wait 24 hours before applying our Actual Teak Oil & Sealer.
- Finish: Follow up with Simple Sailor Boat Show Teak Brightener & Sealer for that ultimate, sun-kissed fresh sand looking deck.

The IMO and MARPOL Code is yet to have a list of approved, straight-to-the-point chemicals for deck washing of boats afloat but does point sailors to the IMDG code for guidance. This is confusing for Simple Sailors the world over. Danger: In concentrate form this cleaner has a PH of <1 and a PH of 2-3 in dilute form. We disclose this to ensure there is no confusion over its concentrate versus diluted and rinse form. Do not get in eyes. If exposure occurs rinse immediately with fresh water or saline eye rinse. All soap is classed as a skin and eye irritant dependent on your individual biology. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Avoid breathing vapors. If inhaled, move to fresh air. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention. Keep out of reach of children

Although we'd love to use a ship to send you our teak cleaner its easier to send by van, truck, rail or air in the U.S. Shipping is free for orders over $100 and $15 for all orders under $100 with standard expedited 3 day shipping. Note: for orders over $500 we charge shipping but offer a 10% discount on all goods ordered.
Returns are allowed but you better have a good reason. We are a small business that doesn't do half measures because you used it and then had no further need. We know our products cannot cause damage so we will need photo and video evidence unless the shipping department destroyed your goods before they arrived. In which case we have insurance.
