Simple Sailor Blood Stain Remover: Vanquish Fish Blood on Teak & Paint!
Don't let the excitement of a great catch turn into a permanent mess on your boat! Our Simple Sailor Blood Stain Remover is engineered to make fish bloodstains on your valuable teak and painted surfaces vanish without a trace. We know how stubborn those red marks can be, which is why we developed a powerful, NON-CHLORINE formula that penetrates deep, actively breaking down even the most set-in bloodstains until they simply disappear.
Unlike harsh, chlorine-based cleaners that can damage delicate teak caulking like SIKAFLEX or TEAK DECKING SYSTEMS CAULK (making it sticky and degraded), our solution is gentle yet incredibly effective. Watch those unsightly red spots turn white, then completely disappear, leaving your boat pristine.
Hardcore Eco-Friendly
We believe in keeping your boat, and our oceans, clean. That's why Simple Sailor Blood Stain Remover is designed with the environment in mind:
- High pH, Acid-Free Formula: Tough on stains without harsh chemicals, free from phthalates, P.E.G.s, and Q.U.A.T.s.
- OCEAN-DEGRADABLE™: Our formula breaks down safely once dry, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
- No Direct-to-Water Runoff: Designed for responsible use, helping to keep our oceans healthier.
- Space-Saving Packaging: Our recyclable, eco-conscious packaging uses 80% less storage space—perfect for tight boat compartments.
How to Get Perfect Results
- Gear Up: Always wear gloves and ensure you're in a well-ventilated area.
- Apply: Spray directly onto fish bloodstains on teak or painted surfaces.
- Wait: Let the solution dwell for 3 to 15 minutes. Resist the urge to scrub too soon— the magic happens as it penetrates and breaks down the stain!
- Observe: Watch as the bloodstains disappear or turn white, signaling they've been fully broken down.
- Stubborn Stains: For persistent spots, simply reapply and follow up with a light, soapy scrub.
- Rinse & Finish: Rinse the treated area well. For an ultimate clean on teak, complete the process with Simple Sailor Teak Cleaner Step 1 & 2 for a truly pristine finish.
Ready to say goodbye to stubborn fish bloodstains and keep your boat looking its best?

Disclaimer: Not following the Instructions may lead to amateur looking results. Each Simple Sailor product carries the correct GHS hazard symbol and keyword often not seen on other products. We reserve the right to be held harmless from any injury or omission to follow the instructions that may cause the end user harm. Just like the sea creatures from human misuse or 'jungle juice' mixing of multiple products Simple Sailor Marine is on a mission to do the right thing.
The IMO and MARPOL Codes do not yet have a list of approved, straight-to-the-point chemicals for deck washing, but they do point sailors to the IMDG code for guidance. Avoid greenwashing by shunning labels showing CLEAN MARINAS or MARPOL ANNEX 8 COMPLIANT.
Warning: Decks slippery when solution applied, tread carefully!
